Demis Chef de partie Role
As a Demi Chef you will work under the chef de partie. A Demi Chef is one rank above the commis chef and in larger kitchens, you will generally have authority over 1-3 commis.
If the Chef de Partie is absent, the Demi Chef will run that section. You must be able to deal with the pressure of working in a fast paced and busy environment
The responsibilities of a Demis Chef de partie are to work as a productive member of the team cooking and preparation on all sections of the kitchen.
The demis chef de partie must at all times adhere to hygiene and health and safety standards.
A Demis Chef de partie salary would be in the region of £17 - 22k plus dependent on size of establishment.
