Acclaimed pastry cake boutique cafes across the capital offering a wonderful selection of cakes, pastries , biscuits, savouries currently have an opportunity for an executive pasty chef to oversee their central production kitchen overseeing a team of 6 Sourcing only the very best ingredients and with all pastry products freshly prepared daily on site, and catering for a wide range of dietary requirements this represents and exciting opportunity to work in a friendly and dynamic growing company must have experience of baking and decorative cake making - great friendly team - mainly shifts ar 7-3 p.m but needs to be flexible
Vacancy Description:

Working closely with the Owner, responsibilities include:

Overseeing daily preparation of extensive range of tarts, cakes & biscuits to recipe specification

Daily organisation of kitchen operation & menu input

Stock control: placing daily food orders, supplier liaison, authorising deliveries, maintaining food cost budget / min. food wastage levels

Due Diligence: Hygiene, H&S Records, Cleaning Rosters & Maintenance of Kitchen & Equipment

About you:

Min. 12 months experience at  Management Pastry Chef level within a comparable high end boutique pastry retail environment 

Excellent skill set (menu knowledge, technical, organisation, time management, communication) & strong attention to detail

Calm & methodical working approach – self motivated, team spirited, passion & creativity essential

Reliable, hard working & genuine intention to offer long term commitment to next role

Salary & Benefits:
£30 - 35 k per annum exc benefits
