Smooth Daily Running of Kitchen – 6 chefs
Menu Design & Development – Accurate Costing & Spec’ Sheets
Stock Control: Purchasing, Supplier Liaison, Stock Auditing (Stock Controller), Wastage Control
Team Recruitment, Leadership & Direction, Training, Appraisals & Disciplinary / Grievance Procedures
Due Diligence: Hygiene, H&S, Fire Safety, First Aid Records & Procedures
Management Meetings & Business Development
Reporting to the Proprietor
Meals on duty - 5 days per week

The successful candidate will be a creative and inspired dynamic head chef looking perhaps for a lifestyle change in a stunning hotel with amazing sea views, offering a fabulous lifestyle by the sea, (renown for surfing) you will have experience in a comparable boutique hotel /restaurant environment with a or 2/3 rosette background with a dynamic and can do attitude. You will have the talent to offer simple food, cooked well, presented beautifully.
Will be an instinctively strong leader with the ability to motivate, train and develop your staff
Will ideally have experience in a high end restaurant and experience of working in a multis faceted food environment the hotel includes both a fine dining restaurant of 50 covers and a small bistro. Small and intimate weddings are also catered for in the low season.
Will be technically very capable
A calm and personable chef is a must to fit in with the existing supportive team.
Will demonstrate a flexible and positive approach to work
Excellent management and organizational abilities.

|£35 - 37k plus tips to average 2 k per annum|
|Initial 3 months accomodation offered within nearby town.|
