You will be working with fresh ingredients and cooking from scratch within a fast paced busy lunchtime environment, in a friendly independently owned operation.
Vacancy Description:

Responsibilities include:

Menu design & development (costings) for Cafe 

Day to Day Running of the Kitchen –

Stock Control, Supplier Liaison, Ordering, Invoices, Stock Audits / GP Reporting, Wastage Control

Recruitment, Rotas, Team Training & Development, 

Due Diligence: Hygiene, H&S Records & Cleaning Rosters

Team of 3 plus 1 KP 


About you:

Experienced chef in a comparable Italian /Mediterranean fresh food, fast paced operation 

Proven all round skill set: Creativity, Leadership, Communication, Organisation & Cooking Skill

Genuine Passion to Cook & Train with ability to deliver under pressure

Ability to Motivate & Train team members effectively

Strong on Due Diligence – up to date on current Hygiene Legislation

Genuine intention to offer long term commitment to next role 

Salary & Benefits:
£33 - £38 k per annum
