We are looking for an efficient and ambitious Business Development/Sales Manager to ensure the continued success and growth of our clients 4* awad wiinning hotel and spa.  The right candidate will be a sales savvy individual with high levels of attention to detail and a desire to succeed.





This is a proactive sales role and will require strong organisation and communication skills.  An understanding of the Hospitality Industry is preferred.





The role:







As the BDM/Sales Manager you will be proactive in increasing our presence in the local and national market place; in the process growing successes through all available channels to include rooms, cottages, spa and food & beverage.







You will be engaging with new and prospective clients, directing sales activities to ensure that the sales objectives of the hotel are achieved. As the BDM/Sales Manager you will have a comprehensive awareness of competitors and any planned new business to the area.







The Hotel , one of the highest rated properties in Cornwall, has 96 bedrooms & suites, multiple  five-star self-catering cottages, a five-bubble rated spa & gym, a double AA rosette-awarded fine dining Restaurant and a rosette-awarded Restaurant. We are about to commence a brand-new build, a multi-million pound ‘Aqua Centre’ due for completion Spring 2019. This will also contain another wonderful catering outlet.

Our ideal candidate will:







Have experience as a BDM/Sales Manager (or similar) within the hospitality industry.







Portray a professional, customer focused image at all times; the building of long lasting relationships is essential.







Demonstrate excellent organizational skills of self and others, juggling multiple projects of different size, complexity and priority.





Be pro-active, continuously looking for ways to further develop the hotel offering.





Ensure an exemplary service is delivered without fail to a 4/5 star criteria, adapting communication styles as appropriate for each situation/audience.  





Motivate, inspire, coach and support the Sales, Marketing & Events team to improve and develop to their full potential.
