A modern and landmark Hotel property offering bold, grand design interiors, 36 elegantly designed rooms and busy food and beverage outlets are looking for a proficient operations manager to join their team
Role
Working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager and supported by F&B Supervisors, responsibilities include:
- Primarily overseeing & looking after Banqueting & Events operation
- Leading & delegating to a Food & Beverage team of 20 staff
- Overseeing Room Service department & Breakfast service (residents)
- Hands on management role with particular focus on setting service standards & maintaining highest levels of team performance
- F&B team training & development, briefings, staff meetings, appraisals
- Diary management, finance control, sales and performance reports, understanding of P&L, meeting deadlines & targets as specified
- Marketing, implementation of effective sales & team performance incentives – focus on F&B business growth
- Due Diligence: Hygiene, H&S, Fire Safety records, cleaning rosters
Candidate Profile
- Min four years’ experience at Supervisory / Manager level within a comparable 3* /5* Luxury Hotel business
- Strong all round skill set – organisation, communication, forward planning – hands on management style essential
- Exceptional attention to detail – very standards orientated role with particular focus on customer care and team management
- Reliable & committed with intention to offer a long term commitment to next role
Salary & Benefits
£25,000 – £30,000 Basic Starting Salary
