A life changing opportunity has just arisen for a professional and experienced hotel  General Manager to join this soon to open 5* modern hotel complex in Addis Ababa in this stunning booming  region of  East Africa. The Role



Responsible to oversee all aspects of this exciting hotel opening (international opening experience an advantage) 





Responsible for all food and beverage operations within this 130 room  hotel



 



    Manage the Food and Beverage, Kitchen and Marketing Department



 



    Fully responsible for a team of 200  direct reports



 



Will be responsible for all of the outlets financial duties including profit and loss forecasting, staff wage budgeting, stock control and menu costing





Creatively produce the businesses advertising and marketing programmes





Work with other core management members of the hotel in regards to the successful marketing and advertising of the outlet





Monitor and oversee the food and beverage services within the hotel





Responsible for customer satisfaction and consistently outstanding quality of product





Recruit, train and induct new members of staff into the team





Carry out regular performance appraisals for all direct reports





Must act as an ambassador for the hotel and the company



 



The Person



 





Will come with at least three years’ experience within Hotel and Food & Beverage Management and preferably have experience within  quality hotel  operations 







International experience is preferred 







Have stayed within your current job for at least an 18 month period of employment







Posses excellent man management skills and financial management







Have a creative business mind in regards to the promotion and constructive marketing of the business



 



Salary & Benefits





3500 - 4000 dollars per month
