Hands on Customer facing General Manager, confident and friendly face of the business familiar with the local area and Clientele 



To be one of SW finest ,  offering the finest in British  seasonal  style cuisine with international flavours  and with a focus on the use of fresh, locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. Our client  is in the process of recruiting a General Manager to open this stunning operation ( currently being refurbed to a high spec ) . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, talented and passionate GM   to join this exciting company. ( The owners are seasoned hospitality professionals  with an impressive track record) , you will have full managerial input and come from a high end gastro /restaurant/brassiere  background reporting to the MD  in the Chelsea/Fulham Neighbourhood.



Role



You will play an integral part in the opening and success of this local neighbourhood business. which will  attract a varied clientele

Responsibilities include:



Daily Management of Operation – Directing a Dedicated Team of 15 (FOH/BOH)



Head Chef Liaison: Menu & Drinks List Development



Rotas, Team Management, Recruitment, Training & Development, Appraisals & Disciplinary Procedures



Stock Control: Supplier Liaison, Purchasing, Auditing (Budgets/P&L), Wastage Control



General Administration & Accounting, Figure Reporting & Forecasting (Sales, Stock & Payroll)



Due Diligence: Hygiene, Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Licensing Records, etc



Management Meetings, Business Promotion & Marketing





Candidate Profile



Minimum 2 years General Manager experience gained within quality Food-Led Gastro and/or Restaurant Brassiere Establishments



Confident Management Style – Leading from the Front



Genuine Passion & Energy to Drive Business Forward



Strong All Round Management Skills & Industry Knowledge





Ability to Promote & Market the Business Effectively
