Exciting and unique opportunity for a creative head chef with experience of delivering great brunches within this busy contemporary cafe/restaurant dining concept



 A great opportunity for a head chef  in a thriving popular (SW )  London location working with an exciting  menu of  current local seasonal sustainable and exciting food offering ( working with existing core favorites) 



The operation is currently open day times, weekends being the most popular with Sundays regularly catering for up to 250 covers



 Role



Supported by the Owner , you will be responsible for all areas of kitchen management.



Responsibilities include:



Day to Day Running of the Kitchen – Leading / Directing a small Brigade of  3/4 chefs



Menu Planning – Daily Changes



Team Training & Development, Tastings & Briefings & Appraisals





Stock Control: Supplier Liaison, Ordering, Invoices, Stock Counting, Wastage Control





Due Diligence: Hygiene, H&S Records & Cleaning Rosters







Candidate Profile





A passionate and creative chef is a must, who understands modern culinary cafe seasonal trends and who is driven to take that next step and become a working integral part of a thriving business. 



Proven Head / experience gained within quality / Cafe Brasserie and / or Gastro Establishments with knowledge of British Seasonal cuisine 



Strong Leadership, Communication, Organization & Technical Skill





Genuine Passion to Cook & Develop Head Chef Skills





Ability to Motivate & Train team members effectively





Strong on Due Diligence – up to date on current Hygiene Legislation







Genuine intention to offer long term commitment to next role





Salary & Benefits





£28, 000 – £30,000 Basic Start Salary + KPI Related Bonus pa





3 Months Probationary Period: Regular Performance Related Salary Reviews







Benefits: Well Structured, Professional & Friendly Working Environment 





Working Hours: 5 days per week – to include weekends – 8 a,m – 3.30p.m



Meals on Duty 



Paid Annual Leave



7 Day Operation with restricted Evening Service looking to open initially 1/2 evenings per week – Excellent Team retention - straight shifts



 



In accordance with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, candidates must prove their entitlement to work in the UK – Verification of Documentation will be undertaken as part of the recruitment 


Salary: £28 - 30 k per annum
