Our Client  is a renown , destination regional Italian restaurant operation in  Central  London – This role represents a great opportunity for an accomplished professional  head chef to work for a well respected restaurateur



 



Good working life balance - 6 shifts plus one double (based on 50 hours) excellent low staff turn over and high staff morale



 



Must haves



Proven experience in cooking high end  Regional Italian cuisine with a passion and knowledge and relevant experience gained  within  reputable London restaurant establishments



An excellent man manager as well as an accomplished Head chef - supported by excellent references



Busy volume high quality dining environment delivering over 2000 covers per week (with the focus on delivering consistency and quality) 



Creative with – and passionate about quality seasonal ingredients and food from the varying regions in Italy



A sound financial understanding of all aspects of running a busy kitchen



Calm and level headed with excellent consistency on cv and with the intention to commit long term to their next role with a busy fast paced environment

The head chef will work report to the Owner  and and will be responsible for …



Food



The food offering and ensuring it always over delivers



Menu and dish creation considers the guests’ and potential guests’ tastes and expectations Seasonality requirements are observed



The menu parameters are worked within



Menu changes are managed correctly



Dietary-specific menus are maintained



 



Service



Striving to ensure customer feedback is always excellent and shortcomings are investigated and rectified



Good communication between front of house and kitchen is kept up with a “Have the conversation” approach



The pace, tone & personality of service is consistent for every shift



The Details



  This is a full time, permanent appointment,



 Salary of £50- 70  k per annum (dependent on experience) 



 



In accordance with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, candidates must prove their entitlement to work in the UK – Verification of Documentation will be undertaken as part of the recruitment process
