Role



Supported by the Owner & working closely with the General Manager, you will be responsible for all areas of kitchen management.



Responsibilities include:



Day to Day Runing of the Kitchen – Leading / Directing a small Brigade of  3/4 chefs



Menu Planning – Daily Changes



Team Training & Development, Tastings & Briefings & Appraisals





Stock Control: Supplier Liaison, Ordering, Invoices, Stock Counting, Wastage Control





Due Diligence: Hygiene, H&S Records & Cleaning Rosters







Candidate Profile





A passionate and creative chef is a must, who understands modern culinary trends and who is driven to take that next step and become a working integral part of a thriving business. A good Commercial acumen essential 





Proven Head / experience gained within quality / Cafe Brasserie and / or Gastro Establishments with knowledge of British Seasonal cuisine 



Strong Leadership, Communication, Organisation & Technical Skill





Genuine Passion to Cook & Develop Head Chef Skills





Ability to Motivate & Train team members effectively





Strong on Due Diligence – up to date on current Hygiene Legislation







Genuine intention to offer long term commitment to next role





Salary & Benefits





£33, 000 – £38,000 Basic Start Salary + KPI Related Bonus pa





3 Months Probationary Period: Regular Performance Related Salary Reviews







Benefits: Well Structured, Professional & Friendly Working Environment 







Working Hours: 45 to 50 Hrs P / Wk over 5 Days (Restricted Evening Service to start)





Meals on Duty 





Paid Annual Leave





7 Day Operation with restricted Evening Service looking to open initially 1/2 evenings per week – Excellent Team retention - straight shifts
