Recently refurbished & relaunched, this high profile Eatery offers inspired British cooking with menus reflecting seasonality, great sourcing and what’s good at Market on the day.
Offering Brunch, A la Carte & daily changing Set Menus, the clientele is suitably discerning with a loyal crowd / steady trading levels from Monday to Sunday.

Role
Working closely with Company Director, you will play an integral role in the continued success of the business.
Responsibilities include:
Day to Day Running of the Kitchen – Leading a Brigade of 3 – 4 Chefs (supported by Sous Chef)
Menu Planning – A La Carte & Menu du Jour
Recruitment, Rotas, Team Training & Development, Tastings & Briefings
Stock Control, Supplier Liaison, Ordering, Invoices, Stock Counting / GP Calculation, Wastage Control
Due Diligence: Hygiene, H&S Records & Cleaning Rosters
Development / Management Meetings / Staff Meetings
Candidate Profile
Proven Head Chef experience gained within quality Brasserie and / or Cafe Establishments with knowledge of British cuisine an essential
Strong Leadership, Communication, Organisation & Technical Skill
Genuine Passion to Cook & Train with ability to deliver under pressure
Ability to Motivate & Train team members effectively
Strong on Due Diligence – up to date on current Hygiene Legislation
Genuine intention to offer long term commitment to next role
Salary & Benefits
£30,000 – £35,000 Basic Start Salary + Possible Bonus Incentives + Discount Card (Leisure & Retail)
3 Months Probationary Period: Regular Performance Related Salary Reviews
