This iconic Private Members Club located in South West London is currently offering a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced Commis Chef to join their professional team.

With state of the art facilities, the elegant Dining Room offers the very best in contemporary fine dining catering for its members and high profile events & hospitality throughout the year. With ingredients sourced from top UK farms & estates, menus reflect seasonality, current culinary trends and modern cooking techniques.

Menus: Breakfast Menu, A La Carte Lunch, Afternoon Tea & Events

Role

Working within a modern kitchen within a brigade of 6 – 9 chefs, you will benefit from the expert tutelage of an award winning Executive Chef.

Responsibilities:

Mise en Place & Service – Excellent Section Rotation

Stock Control: Deliveries, Daily Line Checks, Wastage Control

Hygiene Procedures, Cleaning Duties

Contracted to work 37.5 Hrs per Week over 5 days (5 Straight Shifts), Benefits include a Well Structured, Professional Working Environment, Annual Discretionary Bonus (paid in November), Ongoing In-House Training, External Courses, Regular Performance Related Salary Reviews with Excellent Opportunities of Progression within the team

Ideal Candidate

Min. 12 Months Experience & Skills Gained in Quality/Award Winning Restaurant and/or Hotel Operations

Knowledge of Modern European Cuisine an Advantage

Naturally Organised with the Ability to Multi-Task

Ability to Work Well under Pressure and on Own Initiative

Passion to Cook & Develop Skills Further

Strong on Due Diligence & Up to Date on Current Hygiene Legislation

Salary & Benefits

£14,950 Basic Start Salary pa + Annual Discretionary Bonus (paid in Nov.) – OTE: £15,500 pa

Working Hours: 37.5 Hrs P / W – 5 Straight Shifts – Days

3 Months Probationary Period: Ongoing In-House Training + External Courses + Regular Performance Related Salary Reviews + Excellent Opportunities of Progression
