Demi Chef De Partie - Beautiful Restaurant - Tring - £16,000

A successful independent eatery are now looking for a Demi Chef De Partie to join there proficient kitchen brigade producing contemporary British cuisine all from fresh produce. No microwaves, freezers or fryers are used so an excellent understanding of cooking from the heart and preparing hearty dishes from scratch are pivotal to securing this position.

Responsibilities

·Working alongside a team of 7 professional chef’s

·Producing all menu items from scratch with a focus on fresh and locally sourced ingredients

·Recording regular stock and temperature checks

·Operating the meat, grill ,fish and larder sections of the kitchen

·Aiding with the input of ideas in regards to menu development

·Maintaining a professional attitude at all times

·Assisting with the costing of menu items

·Training new and junior members of the teams

·Demonstration of excellent knife skills

·Must posses excellent communication skills

Salary Package

·£14,500 per annum basic salary

·£3,000 in tips and bonus per annum on top of basic salary
