Company Profile

 

A fabulous 4* Deluxe Boutique Hotel in the heart Northamptonshire is now looking for a Chef De Partie to join its flourishing kitchen team. With original 18th Century antiques throughout the property and a discreet, attentive and friendly service. Serving traditional British and modern European cuisine with a stunning dining room open to the public

 

 

Role

  • Reporting directly to the Head Chef
  • Training and motivation of for all junior direct reports
  • Good creative input with a hands on approach
  • Responsible for all sections including meat, fish and larder
  • Actively promoting the business through marketing ideas
  • Assisting the management of room service, Banqueting, Guest meals and the Restaurant menu
  • Stock management
  • Rota management
  • Implementing health and safety program as specified by the company
  • Maintaining the smooth running of the kitchen at all times
  • Dish costing and waste management
  • Involved in business and revenue forecasting

 

 

Candidate Profile

 

  • Will have at least 2 years’ experience as a Chef De Partie in a 4*-5* Hotel environment serving high end, modern British and European cuisine at a Rosette level
  • Demonstrate strong man management
  • Instinctive creative flair with modern European cuisine as well as excellent skills with British produce
  • Will be able to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Excellent  administration skills
  • Must demonstrate a passion for good quality, fresh ingredients
  • Excellent organisational skills

 

Salary & Benefits

£18,000 P/A with performance/GP related bonus on top of annual salary

Accommodation provided if needed

Set shifts with two days of a week guaranteed

 

 

 

In accordance with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, candidates must prove their entitlement to work in the UK – Verification of Documentation will be undertaken as part of the recruitment process
