Company Profile

 

This Beautiful 5 Star Hotel is searching for an enthusiastic and talented CDP to develop the menu and be part of this independent’s imminent growth and success within its award winning 3AA Rosette Restaurant. This outlets reputation is vastly expanding with excellent onsite facilities including their own herb garden and small farm.

 

Role

  • You will be assisting with the responsibility for the supervision and development of a small brigade of 11 chefs
  • Involved in liaising and maintaining good relationships with local suppliers
  • You will have full autonomy over the menu and the operation of the kitchen
  • Working closely with the owners and management teams
  • Wastage control
  • Recruitment responsibilities
  • Completion of weekly stock takes
  • Completion of weekly and monthly reports
  • Integral part of the successful operation of the business as a whole

 

 

 

 

Candidate Profile

 

  • Will have at least 3 years’ experience as a Chef producing high quality, rustic dishes ideally from a Rosette background
  • Highly creative and imaginative with fresh, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients
  • The ability to remain calm and professional when the going gets tough is an absolute must!
  • Will be an instinctively strong leader with the ability to motivate, train and develop your staff
  • Will be highly organised
  • Will demonstrate a good sense of ownership
  • Will demonstrate a flexible and positive approach to work with a savvy and energetic personality
  • Will be proficient in implementing Health and Safety procedures
  • Good IT and administration skills are desired
  • The ideal candidate will have previous banqueting experience for up to 200 guests

 

 

 

Salary & Benefits

£16,000 Per Annum
