Our Client is one of Londons’ leading niche theatre companies employing over 200 personnel ( with a core f/t team ) over busy periods  with an annual turnover of £6 million and one million on the food and beverage



Job Description 



Reporting to the Executive Director, the head of catering is responsible  for maximising the service , presentation, profitability and ongoing development of the theatres bar and catering operation , recruiting, managing and training all staff for which they are responsible



 



The turnover of the bar and catering averages 1 million and includes 4 separate food service areas whilst multiple events for up to 150 covers are catered for



Main duties to cover Commercial operations, Staff Management, Health and Safety 



The person



It is essential for this role the successful candidate has a genuine interest in  theatre and has worked in a large  theatre or comparable entertainment venue as the head of catering 



Hours -Generally Monday to Friday - 10 -6 p.m with the flexibility to work weekends at busy seasonal periods and evenings 





Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. 


Salary £45 - 50,000 p/a
