Service: Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea, Dinner, Events & Hospitality (7 day operation)

Role

Working unsupervised from 11pm until 4am, you will work closely with the Head Pastry Chef under supervision from 4am until 7am with responsibilities including:

Daily Mise en Place & Service – Fresh Bread, Croissant, Danish & Pizza Dough

Ability to Submit Menu Ideas

Stock Control: Station Orders & Wastage Control

Due Diligence: Food Hygiene, H&S Records & Procedures

Regular Staff Meetings, Briefings, Tastings, Ongoing Training & Development in both Bakery & Pastry under Head Pastry Chef

Hotel Brigade of 15 Chefs including Night & Breakfast Chefs

Candidate Profile

Min 18 months experience at Chef de Partie / Baker level within a comparable 4* / 5* Luxury London Hotel business with experience of banqueting essential

Strong all round skill set – organisation, communication, forward planning

Exceptional attention to detail – very standards orientated role with particular focus on delivering high quality bakery products

Reliable & committed with intention to offer a long term commitment to next role

Salary & Benefits

£20,000 Basic Start Salary pa & Possible Service Charge Allocation & Paid Overtime (beyond 40 Hrs P / Wk contract)

3 Months Probationary Period: Regular Performance Related Salary Reviews
