This Stylish, Award Winning Restaurant & Bar situated in the heart of the West End is currently offering a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Head Chef to lead their Kitchen Team.

Featuring a spacious Dining Room, Bar & PDR, this vibrant Restaurant offers inspiring & imaginative Mediterranean Menus sourcing the finest, seasonal ingredients from select Producers & Suppliers from the UK & Europe.

Open for Lunch Monday to Sunday and Dinner Monday to Saturday, this Established, Independent Restaurant attracts a loyal & discerning London following all year round.

Role

In charge of all areas of Kitchen Management, you will lead a Brigade of 8 Chefs (5 on service), continuing the Culinary Success of this Established Business currently aiming for its 2nd Rosette.

Responsibilities Include:

Creative Menu Planning & Costing - Delivering a Range of Inspiring & Seasonal Mediterranean Dishes

Monthly Changing Menu with Weekly Specials

Daily Running of the Kitchen

Stock Control: Purchasing, Auditing, Weekly Figure Reporting (GP/Budget), Wastage Control

Rotas, Recruitment, Training & Development, Reviews & Disciplinary Procedures

Hygiene, H&S Records & Cleaning Schedules

Business Meetings

Contracted to work 50 hours over 5 days (2 Split & 3 Straight Shifts) within a well equipped Kitchen, Benefits include a Well Structured & Professional Working Environment, Quarterly Bonus Incentives, Regular Performance Related Salary Reviews and External Courses with Excellent Opportunities of Movement within this Expanding Independent Group.

Candidate Profile

The Ideal Candidate will have a minimum of 2 years Head Chef experience in a Restaurant of good note and 2AA Rosette experience gained at Sous Chef level and above with some Michelin experience an advantage.

With real Passion and Enthusiasm, you will enjoy delivering inspiring and creative Menus cooked with flair and imagination, catering for High Volume covers throughout the week.

You will be able to Lead and Mentor your Team effectively, Work Well under Pressure, enjoying a Busy Kitchen environment and Team Training.

Strong on Due Diligence, you will also be up to date on current Hygiene Legislation.

Salary & Benefits

£35,000 - £45,000 Basic Start Salary pa + Quarterly Bonus Incentives (Profit & GP Related)

3 Months Probationary Period: Regular Performance Related Salary Reviews
