This High Profile, International Company based in North London is currently seeking to secure a highly motivated and professional Sous Chef to assist in overseeing their Catering & Hospitality Operation.
With 850 Staff, these Prestigious Offices feature an In-House Restaurant, Cafe Bar and several Meeting Rooms catering for Directors’ Dining, Corporate Hospitality and Events.
Role
Supporting the Head Chef in all areas of Kitchen Management, you will play an integral part in all areas of Food Production for the Staff Restaurant, Cafe Bar, Directors’ Dining and Hospitality.
Responsibilities Include:
Daily Management of Kitchen - Directing a Brigade of 5 Chefs
Daily Menu Planning & Costing - Staff Restaurant, Cafe Bar, Directors’ Dining, Functions & Events
Stock Control: Purchasing, Supplier Liaison, Budget & Wastage Control
Chef Training & Development
Hygiene, Health & Safety Records, Cleaning Rosters
Contracted to work 7.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday (40 Hrs P/Wk with 1 Hr Break), Benefits include a Well Structured & Professional Working Environment, Paid Overtime, Ongoing In-House Training, Excellent Annual Leave Package (incl. Candidate Profile
The Ideal Candidate will have proven Kitchen Management experience gained working within Quality, Fast Paced/High Volume Corporate Environments.
Naturally organised with the ability to multi-task, you will be able to direct a team and work well under pressure, enjoying a busy Kitchen environment, menu planning and team training.
Strong on Due Diligence, you will also be up to date on current Hygiene Legislation.
Salary & Benefits
£25,000 - £26,000 Basic Start Salary pa + Paid Overtime
3 Months Probationary Period: Regular Performance Related Salary Reviews
