This Exclusive Italian Cafe located in West London is currently offering a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to head their Kitchen Operation.

Recently launched, this Fashionable 100 seat Cafe set over 2 Floors offers an extensive range of regional Italian Coffees, homemade Ice Creams & Gelati, fine Cakes & Pastries, Panini & Sandwiches, Soups & Savouries, with all Ingredients sourced from quality Italian & UK suppliers.

With Contemporary Interiors, a vibrant Atmosphere & friendly, professional Service - this Stylish Eatery is busy throughout the day.

Role

In charge of all areas of Kitchen Management and working closely with both the General Manager & the Food Development Manager, you will play an integral part in the continued Success of this new & exciting Cafe Establishment.

£1,500 - £4,500 Daily Net Food Sales

Responsibilities:

Daily Running of the Kitchen - Leading a Brigade of 5 Kitchen Assistants

Mise en Place & Service - High Volume Covers with Focus on Standards, Quality & Consistency

Stock Control: Purchasing, Invoices, Weekly Stock Counting & Figure Reporting (GP/Budget), Wastage Control

Rotas, Recruitment, Training & Development, Reviews & Disciplinary Procedures

Hygiene, H&S Records & Cleaning Schedules

Business Meetings

Contracted to work 40 hours over 5 days (5 Straight Shifts) within a well equipped Kitchen, Benefits include a Well Structured & Professional Working Environment, Paid Overtime, Regular Performance Related Salary Reviews, Training in Italy and External Courses with Excellent Opportunities of Movement within this Expanding, Independent Group.

Candidate Profile

The Ideal Candidate will have proven Kitchen Management experience gained working within Quality, Fast Paced/High Volume Cafe Establishments.

Naturally organised with the ability to multi-task, you will be able to lead a team and work well under pressure, enjoying a busy Kitchen environment and team training.

Strong on Due Diligence, you will also be up to date on current Hygiene Legislation.

Salary & Benefits

£26,000 - £30,000 Basic Start Salary pa + Paid Overtime

3 Months Probationary Period: Regular Performance Related Salary Reviews
