Company Profile

This new Independent School is part of the ongoing redevelopment and offers children a bright and spacious learning environment, swimming pool, large sports grounds, tennis court and features a vegetable and flower garden.

Open from 8am for 48 weeks of the year, this independent Nursery admits 55 - 60 pupils from the ages of 3 months to 7 years.
Role

Main Responsibilities include:

Preparation and cooking of Lunch and Tea using all fresh produce for up to 55/60 children daily

Ensuing that the food is delivered to time and taken to the classrooms

Maintaining food hygiene standards and adhering to all food safety regulations at all times

Keeping food safety records such as temperature control, food date monitoring etc.

Responsible for collecting all dishes from the classrooms and cleaning the dishes

Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy and in immaculate condition at all times

Responsible for cleaning and keeping service records for appliances in the kitchen
Candidate Profile

The Ideal candidate will have experience cooking large quantities and volumes in a stand-alone position with experience in nursing homes, day nurseries, hospitals an advantage.

With real passion and enthusiasm, a strong work ethic and a motivated, organised and positive approach to all responsibilities, you will enjoy delivering creative and healthy menus cooked to a high standard.

You will have good understanding of effective cost management without compromising on standards and product quality.

You will also be up to date on current Hygiene, Health and Safety legislation.

Salary & Benefits

£14,000 - £15,000 Basic Start Salary pa

Working Hours: 8.00am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday
