This stunning Restaurant Brasserie & Bar located in North West London is currently offering a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Head Chef to take charge of the Kitchen operation.
Featuring glamourous Interiors, a 90 cover Dining Room and vibrant Bar, this Award Winning Venue offers innovative modern European cuisine with all Organic & Free Range ingredients sourced from UK Suppliers & Producers.
Catering for up to 130 covers per service (av. £20k net food sales p/wk), this Famous Brasserie Bar has received Rave Reviews since its opening and attracts a loyal and discerning clientele all year round.
Menus: A La Carte, Daily Specials, Function & Private Parties
Role
In charge of all areas of Kitchen Management and working closely with both the General Manager & the Managing Director, you will play an integral part in the continued Culinary Success of this Established Business.
Responsibilities:
Menu Planning & Costing - Creating & Delivering a Range of Inspiring & Seasonal Dishes
Daily Running of the Kitchen - Leading a Brigade of 8 Chefs
Stock Control: Purchasing, Auditing, Weekly Figure Reporting (GP/Budget), Wastage Control
Rotas, Recruitment, Training & Development, Reviews & Disciplinary Procedures
Hygiene, H&S Records & Cleaning Schedules
Business Meetings
Contracted to work 50 hours over 5 days (2 Split & 3 Straight Shifts) within a well equipped Kitchen, Benefits include a Well Structured & Professional Working Environment, Bonus Incentives, Regular Performance Related Salary Reviews and External Courses with Excellent Opportunities of Movement within this Expanding, Independent Group.
Candidate Profile
The Ideal Candidate will have proven Head Chef experience gained working within Award Winning (Rosette/Michelin*) Establishments with knowledge of modern European cuisine an advantage.
With real passion and enthusiasm, you will enjoy delivering innovative and creative Menus cooked with flair and imagination.
Naturally organised with the ability to multi-task, you will be able to lead a team and work well under pressure, enjoying a busy Kitchen environment and team training.
Strong on Due Diligence, you will also be up to date on current Hygiene Legislation.
Salary & Benefits
£35,000 - £40,000 Basic Start Salary pa + Bonus Incentives
3 Months Probationary Period: Regular Performance Related Salary Reviews
