Featuring a spacious Dining Room & Bar, Open Fires and stunning Garden, this established Gastro Pub embraces the Heritage of British Food sourcing the finest ingredients from local Farm Producers & Suppliers.

Role

Supporting the Chef in all areas of Kitchen Management, you will play an integral part in the continued Culinary Success of this Established Business.

Responsibilities Include:

Daily Menu Planning & Costing - Creating & Delivering a Range of Inspiring & Seasonal Dishes

Running of the Kitchen in the Head Chef’s Absence

Stock Control: Orders, Deliveries, Stock Counting, Wastage Control

Chef Training & Development, Briefings

Hygiene, H&S Records & Procedures, Cleaning Schedules

Contracted to work 50 hours over 5 days (2 Split & 3 Straight Shifts) within a well equipped Kitchen, Benefits include a Well Structured & Professional Working Environment, Weekly Cash Tips, Ongoing In-House Training, External Courses and Regular Performance Related Salary Reviews with Excellent Opportunities of Progression & Movement within this Expanding Independent Group.

Candidate Profile

The Ideal Candidate will have a minimum of 2 yrs Sous Chef experience gained within quality/rosette standard Gastro Pubs and/or Restaurant Brasseries in the UK.

Naturally organised with the ability to multi-task, you will be able to lead a team and work well under pressure, enjoying a busy kitchen environment, menu planning and team training.

Strong on Due Diligence, you will also be up to date on current Hygiene Legislation.

Salary & Benefits

£24000 - £26000 Basic Start Salary pa + Weekly Cash Tips + Possible Bonus Incentives (OTE: £29000 pa)

3 Months Probationary Period: Regular Performance Related Salary Reviews
