This recently refurbished, stylish Restaurant located in the West End of London is currently offering a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Sous Chef to join their professional team.

Situated within a 17th century building, this 110 cover Restaurant offers a robust Brasserie menu with all seasonal Organic & Free-Range ingredients sourced from quality UK producers & suppliers.

Catering for approx. 20 - 60 Lunch covers per day, this stunning Venue caters for additional Private Functions (buffet service) during the evening.

Clientele: Politicians, Professionals & discerning Local Residents

Role

Supported by the Head Chef of the Group’s sister Restaurant, you will be in charge of running the Kitchen on a daily basis, playing an integral part in the continued success of this established Restaurant.

Responsibilities:

Menu Planning & Costing

Kitchen Management - Leading a Brigade of 4 Chefs

Stock Control: Orders, Supplier Liaison, Deliveries, Stock Counting, Wastage Control

Rotas, Chef Training & Development, Tastings & Briefings

Hygiene Records & Procedures, Cleaning Rosters

Contracted to work 48 Hrs per Week over 5 days (Predominately Daytime Shifts), Benefits include a Well Structured, Professional Working Environment, Ongoing In-House Training, External Courses, regular Performance Related Salary Reviews & Bonus Incentives with excellent opportunities of Progression & Movement within this Established Independent Group.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership and head your own kitchen with the support of an award winning Head Chef.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have proven experience and skills gained in quality/award winning Restaurant and/or Gastro operations with knowledge of modern British cuisine an advantage.

Naturally organised with the ability to multi-task, you will be able to lead a team and work well under pressure, enjoying a busy kitchen environment, menu planning and team training.

Strong on Due Diligence, you will also be up to date on current Hygiene Legislation.

Salary & Benefits

£24,500 Basic Start Salary pa + £2450 Bonus (Paid Per 6 Months)

Working Hours: 48 Hrs P/Wk over 5 days (1 Split & 4 Straight Shifts)

3 Months Probationary Period: Regular Performance Related Salary Reviews
