This modern, stylish 2AA Rosette Gastronomic 90 cover Restaurant with additional Terrace Dining (40 seats) located in the heart of the City seeks a dynamic and experienced Demi Chef de Partie to join their professional and friendly team.

Owned by a highly acclaimed Celebrity Chef - this Award Winning Restaurant has built a solid reputation for high levels of food quality using only the finest seasonal, Organic & Free-Range ingredients, showcasing modern British cuisine including Rare Breed Meats, Seafood and Game.

With relaxed and attentive service, this contemporary Restaurant attracts a loyal and discerning City Professional clientele.

Role

Working under an award winning Head Chef within a brigade of 6, you will play an integral part in delivering modern British dishes cooked with flair and imagination.

With good section rotation, responsibilities will include:

Submitting Menu Ideas (Menu changing 6 times per year with additional Daily Market Specials)

Assisting Chef de Partie & Running Own Section in their Absence

General Stock Control & Section Orders

Daily Food Hygiene Procedures & Cleaning Duties

Junior Chef Training

Restaurant covers: 70 - 90 Lunch (fast paced), 80 - 100 Dinner & 40 - 120 Sunday Lunch covers

Contracted to work 6 Shifts (1 Split + 4 Straight) 5 days out of 7 with additional Paid Overtime available, Benefits include Ongoing In-House Training, External Courses, Regular Performance Related Salary Reviews and excellent Opportunities of Progression & Movement within this Established Independent Group.

Candidate Profile

The Ideal Candidate will have proven experience gained within comparable Restaurant, Hotel and/or Gastro establishments with knowledge of modern British cuisine an advantage.

Naturally organised with the ability to multi-task, you will be able to work well under pressure and on your own initiative, enjoying a busy kitchen environment, menu planning and team training.

Strong on Due Diligence, you will also be up to date on current Hygiene Legislation.

Salary & Benefits

£16000 - £18000 Basic Start Salary pa + Paid Overtime

Working Hours: 48 Hrs P/Wk - 5 days (1 Split & 4 Straight Shifts)

3 Months Probationary Period: Regular Performance Related Salary Reviews
