This contemporary 40-seat City Cocktail & Wine Bar features a number of beautifully designed, intimate Dining Rooms both popular for Business Meetings & Celebrations.

Headed by an award winning Chef, the A La Carte & Daily Market menus offer a seasonal range of traditional British favourites with a modern twist. Using Organic and Free Range ingredients sourced from quality UK suppliers and producers, all dishes are cooked from scratch with a range of homemade preserves, pickles and chutneys also available.

Popular with both City Professionals and discerning Locals - the vibrant, relaxed atmosphere ensures this well known Wine Bar & Eatery is busy from lunch until late.

Role

Working within a professional Brigade of 6 chefs in recently refurbished Kitchens, you will benefit from good section rotation working on the Grill, Larder and Pastry sections.

Catering for 40 - 100 covers per service, you will play an integral part in Daily Menu Planning, with responsibilities including:

Mise en Place

Section Orders & Stock Control

Junior Chef Training

Hygiene Procedures & Daily Cleaning Duties

Contracted to work 6 Shifts over 5 days (48 Hrs P/Wk), additional Benefits include Paid Overtime, regular performance related Salary Reviews, ongoing Training & Development, External Courses with good Progression & Movement available within this Award Winning, Independent Company.

Candidate Profile

You will have experience in fast paced, quality Restaurant and/or Gastro Establishments with British Menu knowledge an advantage.

With passion to cook great food and a real ability to deliver high standards of quality and service, you will have a committed, positive working approach, work well within a team and have high levels of energy and motivation.

You will be up to date with current Hygiene Legislation.

Salary & Benefits

£16000 - £17000 Basic Salary pa + Paid Overtime

Approx. 48 Hrs P/Wk (6 Shifts over 5 Days)

3 Months Probationary Period: Regular Performance Related Salary Reviews

Ongoing In-House Training + External Courses + Excellent Opportunities of Progression & Movement within this Established Independent Company

Paid Annual Leave (Closed over Christmas Period)

Chef Uniform + Meals on Duty

Immediate Start
