This award winning, stylish Restaurant situated within a luxury Boutique Hotel in Mayfair is currently offering a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Pastry Chef de Partie to join their professional team.
Recently refurbished with grand design interiors, this stunning Hotel features an award winning, fine dining Restaurant (1AA Rosette), beautiful Tea Rooms, a Cocktail Bar and stylish Meeting Rooms.
With lunch served between 12pm and 3pm and dinner between 7pm and 11.00pm, this 60 cover Restaurant headed by an internationally renowned Executive Chef offers innovative modern European cuisine using only the finest ingredients sourced from quality producers and suppliers.
Role
Working under the Executive Chef within a brigade of 10 chefs (additional porters), you will play an integral part in delivering high levels of food quality and presentation for the A La Carte, 2/3 Course Set, Menu du Jour, Afternoon Tea and Function menus.
Using modern cooking techniques and working in a high spec. separate pastry production area (fully refurbished in 2008), you will effectively manage the pastry section through fast paced service with the assistance of 1 other chef.
Covers: 40 - 65 Lunch/Dinner, 50 - 70 Afternoon Tea, 20 - 100 covers for Private Functions & Events (banqueting, buffet, canapés, etc)

Contracted to work 4 straight and 1 split shift (48 hours per week with 2 days off), you will benefit from working within a well structured and professional kitchen environment which offers ongoing in-house training, regular performance related salary reviews and external courses for further personal development.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have strong experience and skills gained in similar quality/award winning Restaurant and/or Hotel operations with knowledge of modern European cuisine an advantage.
With passion to deliver high levels of food quality and standards of service, you will demonstrate strong organisation, communication and technical skills with consistent attention to detail.
Reliable and enthusiastic - you will have the ability to work well under pressure and on your own initiative.
You will also be up to date with current Hygiene Legislation.
Salary & Benefits
£19000 - £21000 Basic Start Salary + Min. £3000 Service Charge pa + Paid Overtime
Working Hours: 4 Straight + 1 Split Shift over 5 Days (48 Hours PW - 7 Days Operation)
3 Months Probationary Period: Regular Performance Related Salary Reviews
