The Company:

The Hotel has rooms plus apartments, in this stunning grade 2 listed property, (total of 50 keys) a delightful courtyard and outdoor seating area, drawing room, bar area (no restaurant) and laundry and modern gym facilities. The property has recently been refurbished to a high standard in a classic English country house style. The opportunity is quite unique, you will be reporting directly to the owner (who has other business interest) and would suit a manager who has drive and passion for the industry who can maximize on the existing potential of the property, and able to take autonomy in the successful running of the hotel.

Role Details:

The role 

Oversee the day to day running of the hotel, there is a staff of 15 to include part-time and a fulltime maintenance person

Be the engaging, friendly professional face of the business and run it as it were your own 

Marketing and room management experience

Liase with 3rd party booking platforms

Liaising  with suppliers /contractors /( negotiating the best deals) overseeing renovations/ repairs and follow up 

Ensuring the compliance and security of the hotel

Good financial awareness with strong control of the P&L, managing costs, budgeting, forecasting  and identifying sales opportunities. 

About you

Have experience as a hands on  Hotel Manager within a high end independent hotel operation. ( The current manager has been in place for many years and is now looking to relocate overseas) representing an excellent opportunity for a new manager to put their own stamp on the business.

Demonstrate excellent organizational skills of self and others. 

Be pro-active and good at problem solving, with the ability to manage and train staff to deliver consistently high  standards.

Motivate, inspire, coach and support the team to improve and develop to their full potential. 

Staff recruitment/rotas

Have good commercial knowledge and solid experience of all Hotel operations. 

This is a hands on role overseeing all aspects of this small boutique hotel,  you will be managing your own rota which will include 2 days off per week



Salary & Benefits:

£48 - 55k - plus modern one bed central London apartment
